Neurovascular Research Lab is looking for a candidate to apply for a Rio-Hortega or Post-MIR/PIR grant in the next call, to collaborate with the project of the stroke prevention line: “Cerebral small vessel disease progression: risk factors, involved mechanisms and clinical consequences”.
Before the contract is granted, we offer the possibility of a part-time job to start collaboration in the same project.
Candidates should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
-Candidates must have obtained a Medical Degree and the Spanish FSE (MIR– Medical internship residency) between 01/01/2012 and 10/31/2016. Preferable specialists would be Neurology, Family Medicine, Radiology or any medical specialty. As alternative, other candidates would be those that hold a Psychology Degree and the Spanish PIR internship residency obtained between 01/01/2012 and 10/31/2016.
-Prior research experience (authorship in publications, congresses, complementary training) will be highly valuable.
Responsabilities and duties
-Patient recruitment, data management activities and execution of the project protocol.
-Collaboration in literature review, brain imaging, clinical and neuropsychological data collection and interpretation.
-Statistical analysis and results interpretation, dissemination of findings.
- The conditions for the Rio Hortega contract (if granted) are as follows: planned start time January 2017, full time position (40 h/week), 2-years duration, annual gross salary 26.866 euros
Before grant is granted, we offer the possibility of a part-time job to start collaboration in the same project. The candidate must be able to work as self-employee during this period. Conditions will depend on the previous experience.
